Holistic Horse–Human School

Learning with Horses – Riding as One Part of a Greater Whole

Our Horse–Human School offers a comprehensive, non-therapeutic education with horses.
The focus is on understanding, responsibility, and respectful interaction between humans and horses.

Riding is an important element of our work —
but it is not the sole focus and not taught in isolation.

What We Mean by Horse–Human School

This is not a classical riding school focused purely on technique or performance.

We understand learning with horses as a holistic educational process that includes:

  • Learning how horses perceive and communicate
  • Understanding horse behavior, needs, and boundaries
  • Developing responsibility, clarity, and consistency
  • Groundwork, observation, and daily horse care
  • Riding as a natural extension of relationship and readiness

The goal is to educate competent, respectful, and mindful horse people — not just riders.

Riding as Part of the Whole

In our Horse–Human School, riding grows out of:

  • Trust and mutual respect
  • Clear communication
  • Physical and mental readiness of horse and human

We do not rush riding.
We introduce it when the foundations are in place.

Riding is not the starting point —
it is one expression of a well-developed relationship.

Clear Boundary: No Therapy

Our Horse–Human School is an educational and recreational offering.

  • It is not therapy
  • It does not replace medical, psychological, or psychotherapeutic treatment
  • It is not intended for therapeutic indications

Participants looking for therapeutic support with horses are asked to book equine-assisted therapy sessions separately, you can find our therapeutic program here.

This clear separation ensures transparency, safety, and appropriate expectations for everyone involved.
